PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT buy my book from Publish America! (& please don't publish with them either!)
I have found them to be a VERY dishonest company & they have TONS of others complaining about them too. Just check out Publish America complaints on google. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until it was too late & I can't cancel my "contract" with them until my 7 years or so is up. :/ I've called them out on different things & was so persistent with it, I've made them so upset that they were willing to let me buy 50 of my books at a "deep" 60% off discount & be out of contract with them (which is still over $900 for 50 books I don't want since they wouldn't ever change the book cover to my liking or fix the 4 typos I asked them to) & definitely don't wanna support them anyways with all the complaints & cheating I've heard from them...& btw, Barnes & Noble, Borders, all the good book stores don't accept P.O.D. (Print-On-Demand) books like they advertise that they're going to try to get them to accept...& they also told me I needed to pay that much to get out of contract with them for all the money they're "losing"...they don't lose any money getting out of contract with you because they are a P.O.D. company in the 1st place...they haven't made the books yet so therefore they're not losing any money at all. There are a billion other things I could say about them, but I won't...just check out PublishAmerica complaints in google if you're thinking about printing with them...trust me. They've scammed TONS of new authors. :/ Unfortunately, I'm one of them...just waiting until the 7 years is up to try to actually print with a legit company.
POETIC DESPERATION: AS DEEP CRIES UNTO DEEP
“Poetic Desperation” is a breath of fresh air in the midst of a suffocating society. In it you will find 101 poems touching on different areas of life.
